This is an in-person class where we will learn to sing Villancicos (Christmas carols )About this Event
The villancico was a common poetic and musical form of the Iberian Peninsula and Latin America popular from the late 15th to 18th centuries. With the decline in popularity of the villancicos in the 20th century, the term became reduced to mean merely "Christmas carol".
In this class, we will work on 2 or 3 pieces (depends on the students) which we will present to Zambomba Performance in the theater Podium Mozaiek on Wednesday 22/12/2021.
- The students will receive the material and all the guidelines upfront, in November, in order to study.
- The applications will be open till November 14.
- Instructors: Yota Baron and Sophia Patsi
- Part of the income will be donated to the Zambomba purpose to collect an amount for Christodoulion Orphanage in Athens.
- Classes will be held in the area of Treehouse Tribe on Saturday December 4 and 11 from 11.00-14.30

- Can I attend even if I have no clue about singing? YES, YOU CAN!! EVERYONE CAN SING!
- Do I have to know flamenco? NO, IT IS NOT REQUIRED.
