Amra Sabai is delighted to announce the upcoming 16th anniversary of our cherished tradition, Durga Puja on October 2, 3, 4 and 5 2025 at the Airdrie Town and Country Centre. We are thrilled to announce the Artist lineup and other details:· Saptak Bhattacharjee is a versatile Indian playback and live-performance singer known particularly for his work in Bengali music and retro/classic genres. Saptak has lent his voice to a variety of Bengali and Bollywood films.
· Priyani Vani Panditt is an established Indian singer and came into limelight as the female winner of VOICE OF INDIA 2007. As a renowned playback singer, Priyani has lent her voice to several HIT Bollywood films. Priyani is also a gold medalist in Indian classical music from SNDT University
· Food: Lunch and dinner will be served throughout the event, in addition to Puja Prashad. Special lunches will be provided for children, and snacks and hot drinks will be available all day. দুর্গাপুজোর ভুরিভোজ - We have carefully prepared a menu that will provide you a culinary experience that you will not forget. Stay tuned for details.
· Mela/Stall: Explore fashion items (Saree, Kids' clothing, Panjabi, Salwar, etc.), jewelry, handicrafts, and services from local entrepreneurs.
· Entertainment: Enjoy live overseas and local artists' concerts. Don't miss the Dashami Dance with DJ, free raffle draws with exciting prizes and the AmraSabai Dashami Rally.
Subscription Rates (for the 4-day event, valid until September 15, 2025, First Come, First Served). We will close our registration on reaching the stipulated hall capacity:
- $ 70.00: Single
- $ 135.00: Family of Two (Couple)
- $ 180.00: Family of FOUR (2 adults & up to 2 kids); Additional family members over 12 years from same household: $50.00 each.
Please note that the mentioned subscription amounts represent the minimum required for participation. Considering the current inflationary climate, we kindly request your generosity in helping us cover our costs.
Payment Options:
- E-transfer: Send your contribution to [email protected]. Please include your name, number of people attending (adult + kids). Please provide your email address for receipt and payment details.
- Cheque: Make payable to "Amra Sabai of Calgary Association." Cheques for Early Bird subscription must be received by September 15, 2025, and can be mailed to PO Box 24046, 100, 2250 - 162 Avenue SW, Calgary, Alberta, T2Y 0J9.
There will be no single-day fees this year, and access to the event will be controlled through the issuance of non-transferable and non-re-issuable wristbands, available at our registration desk at the venue.
