Amphibian Nighttime Search
with Staff
Saturday, March 7 | 10 pm - 1am
BRN - Elective
Nighttime in early spring is when amphibians begin moving around. Many of our salamanders and frogs stir from their slumber to begin the mating season in the waterways, ponds, and vernal pools under cover of darkness. We will spend the evening searching the Arboretum for these late night denizens.
This program will take place outside and will follow easy trails and paved walkways. Dress for the weather and prepare to be outside for the entire program time.
