The Board of Directors of the AIDS Memorial Project are pleased to invite you to join us on Sunday December 8th, to celebrate Luminaria within historic Willowbranch Park. This annual community wide holiday event is exciting to see with hundreds of candles lining the paths and over the bridges throughout the park, to create a warm and welcoming magical glow. This is made possible with the kind help of our members and friends along with many neighborhood volunteers, who give their time to help assemble these kits, which begins at about 3 pm within the park. As the sky gradually darkens with the approach of evening, it's "show time" with the lighting of candles within their white bags. The visual effect from across the park is stunning, drawing crowds of holiday revelers from across the city! We welcome you to join in the fun of assembling these luminaria. The more volunteers, the merrier! We look to the new year with great anticipation of continued success.
