We have had a fantastic turnout over the last couple of winters for our planting days at this reserve - Amorino Park. Locals have planted hundreds of native seedlings.Since then, our keen volunteers have been keeping the weeds from smothering the native seedlings with regular working bees.
We're also tackling some invasive weeds such as Japanese honeysuckle, moth plant, english ivy and arum lilies which have infested existing areas of bush in the park.
We would love for you to join us at our working bee. Everyone is welcome. Come along whenever suits, and bring your friends and family.
What to bring/wear: Gardening gloves, water bottle, snacks, sturdy footwear (closed toe shoes, boots or gumboots). Dress for the weather. All tools are supplied.
Where: Access the park via the walkway between 32-36 Amorino Drive
