Amnesty International USA's Southern Regional Activism Conference 2024

Amnesty International USA is excited to be hosting our Southern Regional Activism Conference 2024 in Atlanta, Georgia on September 28th, 2024.

AIUSA’s Southern Regional Activism Conference 2024 (RAC'24) will provide a space for people to come together to increase knowledge, build skills, and exchange ideas for progressing a human rights agenda! We will host our conference in-person only except for governance sessions, which will be online as well.

This year’s Southern Regional Activism Conference will offer sessions covering an array of human rights issues, such as Reproductive rights, Refugee and Migrant Rights, Ending Gun Violence and more. Please check back later for a complete agenda of sessions offered.

Governance sessions will be conducted both online and in-person. If you would like to submit a resolution for the Southern Regional Activism Conference, please email [email protected]. The deadline to submit resolutions is September 14, 2024, two weeks before the start of RAC’24. More information on how voting will be conducted at the RAC will be sent closer to the conference date. In-Person Only

Please note that Southern RAC'24 will not be a hybrid event. All workshops will be held in-person only, with the exception of Governance sessions.

Thursday, September 19th – Deadline for advance registration.

To participate in the Working Parties and Voting Plenary at RAC'24, our Member Services team is required to verify each individual’s membership status prior to the conference. If you register after these deadlines and would still like to participate, please contact us at [email protected] as soon as possible.
