About this Event
Amigurumi is the Japanese word for "crocheted or knitted stuffed toy," and is popular world wide for creating cute stuffed objects out of crochet. In this workshop, we will cover the basic amigurumi stitches and techniques such as the magic circle, increasing, decreasing, and making simple shapes, which participants can then use to design their own amigurumi doll.
Please note that this is not a beginner crochet class! Participants should be familiar with basic crochet stitches and terms, such as the chain stitch and the single crochet stitch.
Hooks and yarn will be available for use during the program.
