Amhráin na Mara - Songs of the Sea

Amhráin na Mara – Songs of the Sea is a sing-along voyage “trasna na dtonnta”

(across the waves) with Éamonn, Aisling agus Aoife. Aisling and Éamonn will lead the sing-along with songs as Gaeilge (in Irish) agus as Béarla (in English). Local musician Aoife will accompany the songs on fiddle or ukelele.

Éamonn Ó Ceallaigh is currently working on a musical collaboration with

Meitheal Mara, Corks Community Boatyard, bringing amhráin na mara/sea shanties

from Cork to Galicia. Lyrics of songs will be provided on the night.
