When? Our volunteer day times from the beginning of March to November 5th will be Wednesdays from 2-7:30PM. Please join us at 2 if possible, no RSVP needed. Volunteer Day Itinerary:
-2PM Meet Up and Connect About Work
-6:30PM Potluck then 10 Minute Meditation/Group-Activity & Final Clean Up
Important Note: If you plan to partake in the potluck, please bring a dish that can be shared with about 10-12 people. We will share whatever we collectively bring. All kinds of food are welcomed.
We love this opportunity to share the blessings of each others food, enjoy conversation, and tune into the devotion of meditation practice in community.
Where? We gather at the Main House at Amethyst Retreat Center: 44 Buffalo Creek Rd, Duncannon PA
What kind of work will we do? We will clean the main retreat house and occasionally work on organizing, repainting, and other minor repair projects inside. Outdoor work includes gardening, weeding, forest trail maintenance, and more. Our volunteer day host(s) will help set you up with tasks based on what is needed and what feels the most fulfilling for you.
What to bring?
•Bring a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated.
