About this Event
A life-changing experience and the only scientifically and medically proven method of giving a person with a healthy brain an experience of what dementia might be like. Enter the world of a person with dementia and understand the simple changes you can make to your practice and to the environment to improve the lives of people with dementia.
In addition to the immersive experience, we will be hosting an information fair with local charities and organisations so that those with memory loss, carers, and others with health conditions can find out about a wide range of support and services available to them in our local area and across Bucks. We encourage guests to come along to the full event to find out more, irrespective of their allocated time slot.
Please note, the Virtual Dementia Tour is designed to provide users with an immersive, sensory experience, that emulates the symptoms of Dementia. Some users may find this distressing and should use their own discretion as to whether they think the experience would be suitable to them. Any users under the age of 18 should be accompanied by a responsible adult.
