The Amernet String Quartet continues its tradition of presenting compelling, artistically rich performances as FIU’s Artists-in-Residence Ensemble. Known for their stylistic versatility and expressive depth, Amernet has earned international acclaim for their dynamic interpretations and commitment to chamber music education. Their performances are distinguished by a rare blend of technical mastery, emotional nuance, and a deep sense of ensemble unity that has made them a cornerstone of South Florida’s classical music landscape.Joining them for this program is pianist Elizabeth Pridgen, Artistic Director of the Atlanta Chamber Players and a Distinguished Artist at Mercer University’s McDuffie Center for Strings. Praised for her expressive range and dynamic stage presence, Pridgen has appeared at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and major venues across Europe. She is widely sought after as a chamber musician and festival artist, known for performances that combine power, sensitivity, and poetic nuance. Her artistry and depth of musical insight make this collaboration with the Amernet Quartet a highlight of the season.
