About this Event
On April 5, 2025, Americus Main Street will host its annual craft beer festival, Hot Glass Craft Beer. Tapping Americus’ rich history of artisan glass blowing and combining it with Georgia’s innovative craft brewing culture, Hot Glass Craft Beer means to bring these two artisan worlds together in one epic event. This event will feature at least 20 regional breweries with three to four different beers from each.
The increasing demand for craft beer and the rich artisan history provides a perfect backdrop for establishing a truly unforgettable event, the uniqueness of which is guaranteed to draw beer enthusiasts, artists, and the curious alike from all over the southwest Georgia region. Our goal for this event is to encourage the continued growth of the local craft beer movement, highlight Americus’ rich history of artisan glassblowing and showcase Americus as an artisan destination.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Those planning to taste beers are required to be 21+ years of age at the time of admission. Children under the age of 17 are permitted free of charge with the price of a paid adult ticket and must be accompanied by a parent. Anyone 18+ year of age at the time of admission may purchase a general admission ticket without beer tastings, however if you are caught drinking any alcohol during the event, you will be removed immediately from the premises and possibly banned for life.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Parking is available in the downtown area. Parking options will be posted on this site closer to the date of the event. The trolley will be running throughout the day around downtown and to/from area hotels to transport for the festival.
What can I bring into the event?
No pets. No outside food or drinks. No backpacks. No angry people. Strollers are okay, but they must have a baby or child in them. Those carrying in outside adult food or beverages instead of a child may be confiscated.

What's the refund policy?
NO REFUNDS. Event runs rain or shine.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You should bring your printed ticket to the event, however we will have a scanner to scan tickets on mobile devices and printed tickets. Cell service may not be perfect, so having a printed ticket will be preferred
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
YES, your tickets are transferable
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Yes, the name on the ticket does not have to match your name on your drivers license as tickets are transferable. Although, we do recommend keeping your tickets secure to avoid copies being made. All tickets will be scanned to prevent extra stress coming to the event and fraudulent tickets.
What if it rains or snows?
The event will run rain or shine. If it snows, you will get one free tasting with beer entry ticket.
Is smoking allowed?
Only in designated areas. If you are smoking outside of designated areas you may be asked to leave event premises. Please dispose of butts in waste bins; we will be watching.
