Join historic sites and organizations from across Eastern North Carolina on Saturday, March 22nd for America’s 250th Fair, where guests can learn about how every era of local history will be celebrating the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution in 2025 and beyond.Admission is FREE
Held in the beautiful gardens at the Burgwin-Wright House, the unique event will offer guests the chance to see all the spectacular ways North Carolina is going BIG to celebrate this momentous anniversary of America’s freedom. Featuring sites and organizations like Moores Creek National Battlefield, Brunswick Town/Fort Anderson, Latimer House, Cameron Art Museum, Thalian Hall, Sons of the American Revolution and more, the event will offer exciting first looks at upcoming celebrations in the works, interactive history for the kids, historic demonstrations, and more to get you excited about the biggest patriotic celebration in two and a half centuries.
The Fair takes place at the Burgwin-Wright House & Gardens at 224 Market Street in downtown Wilmington. (corner of Third & Market Street) There's street parking in front of the Burgwin-Wright House, meters are free after 6:30PM. There's also parking at the city parking deck and open-air lot on Second and Market St.
