Goldey-Beacom College Library is one of 50 U.S. locations selected to host Americans and the Holocaust, a traveling exhibition made possible by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and the American Library Association. The self-guided exhibit runs January 11-February 22, 8am-5pm.
Americans and the Holocaust examines the motives, pressures, and fears that shaped Americans' responses to Nazism, war, and genocide in Europe during the 1930s - 1940s. It also addresses important themes in American history, exploring the many factors that influenced decisions made by the U.S. government, the news media, organizations, and individuals as they responded to Nazism.

A History of Anti-Semitism
- Description: Explore the religious and political roots of anti-Semitism, its unifying presence across ideologies, and potential responses to its ongoing genocidal impact.
- Speaker: Dr. Hal Switkay

The U.S. and the Holocaust
- Description: Join us to hear about The U.S. and the Holocaust, a documentary by Ken Burns, Lynn Novick, and Sarah Botstein that examines the rise of Hitler and Nazism in Germany in the context of global antisemitism and racism, immigration and eugenics in the United States, and race laws in the American south.

Combating Nazism

From the Warsaw Ghetto to American Shores
