Denison Arts Council is excited to announce a special, one-week-only solo exhibition: American Tall Tales: The Works of Patience Newsom. Gear up for Denison's annual Doc Holliday Festival with this limited-time art show & sale at 517 Gallery, wherein you'll find cowboys and coopers, saints and sinners, and depictions of exciting western & historical shenanigans.At only 24 years old, artist and historical enthusiast Patience Newsom boasts a large body of work and a fresh, exhilarating approach to the history and culture of the USA and the Deep South.
Don't miss out on this short-term show! To provide as much opportunity as possible for visitors to experience American Tall Tales, 517 Gallery will be open to the public every day from April 7-13 from ~10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
