The College of Liberal Arts and PRAx Present: American Strings with esperanza spalding
American Strings kicks off under the new leadership of artistic director and host Kelly Bosworth with an extraordinary guest: esperanza spalding, launching her year as the 24-25 Patricia Valian Reser Artist-in-Residence at PRAx. In a program that is part interview and part solo performance by esperanza on her bass, these two women engage in deep conversation about music, culture work, community, and the beautiful, creative futures towards which spalding's work arcs.
