American Sign Language Community Lessons by Dave Chanin: 4 class series

Hickory Nutrition has partnered with incredible friend and ASL teacher Dave Chanin to bring American Sign Language Community Lessons for All Ages: 3-103yr!

Come join us at Hickory Nutrition for an exciting opportunity to learn American Sign Language ASL! Whether you're 3 or 103 years old, these community lessons are open to everyone and designed to be done as a family.

We have partnered with our amazing friend, Dave Chanin, who is hilarious and makes learning feel so fun and real-life applicable! He will be leading the lessons, so expect tons of laughter and an interactive experience for all, with a chance at some prizes too. Don't miss out on this chance to expand your communication skills and connect with the deaf community. We have already completed our first series and starting our second series by popular demand!

This is a unique 4 part series, where you wont want to miss a class!

The classes are FREE and we ask that you reserve your spot for each class at $4 ($16 total) to use towards the purchase of a healthy beverage at our tea/coffee/healthy shake bar that will stay open for 30 minutes prior to the start of each class (5:30-6pm, class 6-7pm). This is mainly to reserve your spot, hold you accountable to showing up for your learning, and to support the host's local shop.

There will also be a community-care project connected to the group if you'd like to join us in adopting a WNC family. More details to come.
