Become an American Red Cross Lifeguard!This certification is for grades 10-12 and Adults.
Participants will gain the knowledge and skills needed to be a lifeguard. The course covers safety skills, handling severe weather, water dangers, and more. This training DOES NOT cover the Waterfront module (canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, lake swimming).
This is a blended learning course - registrants will be sent a link to an online classroom portion that MUST be completed before the in-person portion of the course. (approximately 7 hours or eLearning)
Participants must be able to complete the prerequisites before signing up for the class, please do not sign up for the training if you will be unable to complete the prerequisites. Participants who fail to complete the online portion before the in-person training will NOT be allowed to participate and will not be refunded. Attendance through all training days is required to earn the certification - participants cannot miss a day or portions of a day(s).
