About this Event
This half day training equips participants with the knowledge necessary to recognize and respond to a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults. The course incorporates the latest science, interactive scenarios, peer-to-peer learning, and hands-on skill practice. Whether you need First Aid, CPR, and AED training that satisfies OSHA compliance and workplace requirements, or you just want to know how to keep your loved ones safe, the American Red Cross is the “go-to” source of emergency and safety training for more than a century. Upon successful completion of the training, participants will earn certification through the American Red Cross for Adult First Aid/CPR/AED, valid for 2 years. Please be advised that, due to the hands-on nature of this course, there are physical requirements for successful participation and completion including, but not limited to, getting up and down from the floor, achieving a kneeling position, and performing chest compressions.
