American Red Cross BLS Provider Instructor Certification

This blended learning course combines online content with an in-person session. The pre-requisite for this course includes an active AHA/ARC BLS Provider certification and be at least 18 years of age. Successful participants will receive a Basic Life Support Instructor certification valid for 2 years. The instructor certification fee is $400.00.

During the in-person session, instructor candidates must demonstrate competency in:

■ Performing BLS skills

■ Using course materials

■ Conducting skill practices and team response scenarios

■ Evaluating participants’ progress
