Donating blood is the easiest, most direct, thing any of us can do to save someone's life. Many people with cancer rely on blood transfusions as part of their treatment plan. Hurricanes Helene and Milton impacted more than 100 blood collection sites and drives throughout the Southeast United States. Unfortunately, this led to an estimated 2,500 units of blood going uncollected at a time when need was at its highest.
If you are able to donate blood, please consider giving the gift of life by donating blood at the American Red Cross Blood Drive at St. Andrew's on Sunday, November 17.
Unable to give blood but still want to make sure our blood drive is a success? Volunteers will be needed to assist Red Cross staff and donors with administration and our canteen on the morning of our drive.
Look for sign up sheets at church for more!
