Music at St. Peter's is thrilled to host the US premiere of this powerful piece as we mark five years since the world shut down.Commissioned by the Edinburgh Just Festival (part of the Fringe) from Morristown's own Dr. Anthony Hammond.
The music combines traditional Latin mass text with prose inspired by The Rev. Dr. Karen Georgia Thompson's very personal experience losing her father and navigating her own illness and the new world that resulted.
On All Souls Day, we honor all those who were lost as well as caregivers everywhere who gave of themselves to save others.
Featuring composer Dr. Anthony Hammond conducting the St. Peter's Choir with solo soprano and quartet.
