This session is perfect for anyone who has taken American Mahjong classes and experienced players who already know the rules and basics of the game.

Join us for a fun and welcoming session of American Mahjong! It’s a chance to strategize, socialize, and maybe even win a few games. Whether you come solo or with a friend, there will be a seat at the table for you.

Bring your own 2025 NMJL card (BYOC) No sets or mats will be provided. Please bring your own.

We can’t wait to play with you! Whether you're looking to sharpen your strategy or simply play with fellow enthusiasts, Mahjong is always more fun when shared.

No lessons will be provided at the event; all attendees must know how to play Mahjong.

Info: We follow National Mahjong League (NMJL) rules for all play, along with a few House Rules that extend etiquette and help keep the games fair and fun for everyone. Our goal is to foster friendship, meet new people, and help players of all levels improve their skills.

We rotate the last East out so a waiting player can join the table. With three players, we often use The Charleston—even though NMJL and tournament rules don’t allow it—if everyone at the table agrees on a method that works. Volunteers are welcome to rotate, and players can switch tables to keep the games fair and enjoyable for all.
