Biloxi Little Theatre is proud to present American Buffalo, the second play of our 78th season!American Buffalo by David Mamet is a gritty drama/dark comedy set in a junk shop in Chicago, where three small-time hustlers scheme to steal a valuable coin collection. The shop's owner, Don, enlists his young employee, Bobby, and his brash friend, Teach, to carry out the heist after Don believes he was cheated by a customer. The tension mounts as distrust, greed, and miscommunication unravel their plan, exposing the fragility of their loyalties and the darker side of human ambition. Through sharp, profane dialogue, the play explores themes of capitalism, friendship, and moral ambiguity in the pursuit of the American Dream.
American Buffalo is directed by James Taylor, and stars Sean Maurer, Bill Lipscomb and Cameron Splain. January 31 - February 2, and February 7-9, 2025. This show is included with current BLT season memberships.
