The Academy of Modern Canine Behaviour Training & UK Sniffer Dog Instructors deliver a fully instructive course to set your dogs on the path to becoming Super Sniffers able to take part in Trials at realistic venues. This course will roll on to the series 2 7 week course.
These courses are super fun and for pet dogs of any breed!
Scent Detection Training has long been used widely across the world, for Working and Operational Services. Our Amazing Dogs have been used to Search for Drugs, Bombs, Firearms, Cash, Contraband, Missing People & Human Remains. Then even more Amazing, in recent years Dogs are being used for Assistance Purposes. Medical Alert (Diabetes) and Medical Detection, Detecting Cancer Cells in Humans......WOW!
Series 1 - we will be teaching a freeze indication and introducing the dogs to line up searches on pots, pipes, bags, chairs or tables. We aim to give you the skills to train & take part in Scent Training Activities with your dogs, just like Working “Sniffer Dogs”!
Series 2 - we will be looking at indication building, proofing & trouble shooting. Your dog will tackle some increasingly difficult searches on pots, chairs & bags whilst adding in distraction scents. Your dog will learn to search in Novel environments such as room searches, outside areas and vehicles in readiness to participate in Bronze Trials!
