This monthly tour of Ambler Children's Centre involves the Children's Centre Lead escorting families around the premises.
About this Event

Our open mornings give parents and carers the opportunity to visit our Baby Room, Toddler Room and Nursery Rooms and experience our learning environment in action. You will also have time to look around the rest of our space, including the garden and our very own Forest, meet the team and understand more about how our nursery operates.

There are opportunities for questions during the tour and afterwards, as well as information about how our applications, admissions and charging processes work.

Following your visit, if you think that Ambler is the right place for you and your child, there will be time to complete an application form if you haven’t already.

No matter where you are on your journey to finding the right setting, everyone is welcome.

Open mornings take place once a month from 10am and each tour lasts approximately 45-60 minutes with the Head of Children’s Centre Ciara Rush.

FAQs

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The nearest tubes are Finsbury Park (5-min walk) or Arsenal (8-min walk) and the nearest bus routes are 4, 19, 106 and 236. There is no on-site parking available however, there is pay and display parking in the neighbouring streets.

How do I access the Children's Centre?

The entrance to Ambler Children's Centre is located on Romilly Road (there is no access via Blackstock Road). All our gates are monitored for security reasons, so please press the buzzer, wait a moment for us to unlock it and then push/pull as appropriate...

What can I bring into the event?

You will be able to store your pram/buggy in our external shelter but there is not enough space for them to be taken on the tour itself. As such, please ensure you have a sling or carrier if your child is too young to walk unaided.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, as long as you are able to tell us the details you booked with on arrival then there is no need to print out your ticket.
