The entry deadline is midnight July 12th, 2024.
If any class is sold out, please send a text to 706-616-4221 with your name and the class you would like to enter. We will place you on a waiting list and fill in as allowed. You will be E-mailed an invoice through PayPal and fees must be paid before your fill-in entry is added.
The District XIII GRAND PRIX SERIES runs under District XIII bylaws and IMPBA rules. Please review the rules and be familiar with the ELIGIBILITY Requirements for a class to qualify for a Championship Jacket.

Absolutely NO REFUNDS (unless a class does not meet the 3-boat minimum or the race is cancelled)
200 boat limit, so get your entries in early. Entry fee is $15.00 per boat.
4 rounds of heat racing (Time Permitting) with 6 laps per heat for each class.
The 2:00 minute clock will be used for Gas, Nitro, and Open Classes (electrics must launch by 30 seconds). The 30-second clock will be used for all electric classes.
All entries are to be paid, your insurance card checked, and you must be wearing a wristband before launching a boat (this includes open water on Friday). Pitmen and anyone operating the retrieve boat must also be IMPBA/NAMBA members and must have a wristband. NO EXCEPTIONS!
ALL IMPBA MEMBERSHIPS MUST BE PAID THROUGH THE IMPBA WEBSITE BEFORE ARRIVING. ALL NAMBA MEMBERS ENTERING THE EVENT SHOULD PAY THE SINGLE-EVENT FEE THROUGH THE IMPBA WEBSITE BEFORE ARRIVAL.
Open Water will be held on Friday the 12th ONLY.
Driver’s meeting at 8:45 on Saturday with racing starting at 9 AM. Driver’s meeting at 7:45 AM on Sunday with racing starting at 8 AM.
CLASSES WITHOUT 3 BOATS BY JULY 1st WILL BE SCRATCHED.
NO LAUNCH AFTER 30 SECONDS, NO EXCEPTIONS!
Certificates will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each class.
Gas, Nitro, and Electrics are welcome in the Open classes (max displacement 36cc).
Any gasoline engine 30.5cc or less is allowed in the LSG 23-30 classes.
The Classic Thunderboat, Carackerbox, and Jersey Skiff classes are limited to a stock Zenoah 260 engine, ONLY! The optional 257 carburetor is permitted. The Jersey Skiffs may run with the Crackerboxes provided they are running a stock Zenoah 260 engine.

SUPERBOAT CLASS WILL FOLLOW ALL IMPBA AND GRAND PRIX RULES ESTABLISHED FOR THE CLASS. PER THE IMPBA RULES SUPERBOAT CLASSES WILL RUN 6 LAPS ON A DESIGNATED COURSE WITH NO LEFT TURN. PER THE GRAND PRIX RULES SUPERBOATS WITH TWIN ENGINES (DISPLACEMENT ABOVE 36CC) ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO RUN IN ANY OPEN CLASS.

OPEN TO ALL Q VOLTAGE (6S) AND D (NITRO) FUELED IMPBA LEGAL HYDROS AND MONOS. FOR RACES WITH BOTH FUEL TYPES REGISTERED (Q & D) IN THE CLASSES, A FULL MILL CLOCK WILL BE USED, IF ONLY ELECTRIC BOATS ARE REGISTERED, THE SHORTER 30-SECOND CLOCK WILL BE USED.
We strongly suggest booking a hotel in Fairburn, GA. This is a nice safe area with lots of hotels and restaurants to choose from. The Fairburn exit is only 10-15 minutes from the pond.
