Come and join us for our afternoon family concert in support of Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity. Free admission for accompanied children and carers, adults just £12. The programme includes the Haydn trumpet concerto with soloist Anakin Ho Fai Tang from Chethams, Nonsense poems arranged for orchestra and featuring our in house narrator Richard Sails. The poems are Jabberwocky, the Owl and the Pussycat, and the Quangle Wangles Hat. There is an interval in which refreshments will be served free of charge, and raffle tickets can be bought in support of our charity. After the interval, narrator Richard and soloist Lee Dunkley will be performing Tubby the tuba- about an unhappy tuba who leaves his orchestra to search for a unique melody of his own. We will finish the concert with Mozart Haffner symphony no. 35. Early booking is advised!
