Amano: Bilingual song and story live at the Kabin Studio

Get ready for an amazing night of bilingual amhráin agus scéalta with Amano at the Kabin Studio. Join us on Fri Jul 05 at 8:00 PM for a unique experience filled with ceol agus craic i nGaeilge agus i mBéarla as Amano performs tracks from her new EP "THREAD" an electronic Irish language music project co-created at The Kabin Studio with Kalabanx (Garry McCarthy).

Amano is a singer, songwriter, poet and activist working in English and Irish. Born in Kyūshū and raised in Kerry, her work is inspired by the earth, love, justice, and the nuances of language(s) spoken and unspoken. She writes across genres including folk, pop, electronic and spoken word.

Amano is also the co-founder of Nós Nua with Conchobhar Ruadh a one of a kind workshop which provides a healing space for adults to explore loss and trauma associated with the Irish language and to begin a new relationship with An Ghaeilge.
