Amanda Yo will perform her Distinguished Major Flute Recital on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025 at 3:30 pm in Old Cabell Hall!This recital will be live-streamed on the UVA Music YouTube channel. The live stream link will be available closer to the event date.
The theme of this recital is centered around nature, with the composers and pieces drawing inspiration from the wide beauty and interactions of nature. The program features Sérénade Aux Étoiles by Cécile Chaminade, Lied by Toshio Hosokawa, Landscape with Birds (Ainavas ar putniem) by Pēteris Vasks, Mimic by Nicole Chamberlain, Deep Blue by Ian Clarke, and A Day in the Forest of Dreams by Billy Childs.

Old Cabell Hall is located on the south end of UVA's historic lawn, directly opposite the Rotunda. Parking is available in the Central Grounds parking garage on Emmet Street, in the C1 parking lot off McCormick Road, and in the parking lots at the UVA Corner.
