Join us this Ramadan for an Amaliah 'Book Club' special; A Ramadan 'Soul Session' with Aliyah Umm Raiyaan, Sunday Times bestselling author and revert, as we explore the transformative power of faith and personal supplication in her latest book, "The Power of Du’a." Through inspirational real-life stories and guidance from the Qur’an and Sunnah, Aliyah shows us how to sincerely prepare our hearts, ask of Allah with certainty, and embrace His perfect plans for us - Just in time for the blessed month!

We’re bringing together the Amaliah sisterhood to discuss Aliya's latest book which promises to be a comforting guide to revive and develop a close relationship with Al Mujeeb – The One Who Responds. Led by esteemed author herself, this event promises to be deeply moving and uplifting, offering a space for reflection and dialogue, leading us to discover the profound impact of du’a in our lives.

This book club is a special 'soul session' that will create a space of sisterhood to come together to reflect, share and contemplate on the power of dua during Ramadan. It will be an open discussion and all our welcome even if you have not read the book already. Ramadan is a time for spiritual reflection and we welcome you to connect with us and do this as a community.

About The Amaliah Book Club

The Amaliah Book Club has been running online for over a year. We have been collating recommendations from our community and publishing book reviews by authors on a variety of topics and genres. In 2022, the Amaliah Book Club launched in-person to a sold-out event. The Amaliah Book Club aims to create a space for Muslim women to exchange ideas, reflect our thoughts and fall in love with reading in a safe and welcoming space. We hope you’ll join us on this journey!

Please note that by signing up for this event, you will be added to a mailing list for communications about the event as well as upcoming events and the latest with Amaliah. In addition, there will be a photographer on the day capturing moments during the event to be shared across our social media platforms, so please let us know before the start of the event if you would not like to be photographed.

Refunds can only be issued if tickets are cancelled at least 5 days before the date of the event - if you cancel on the day of the event, you will not be entitled to a refund. We often have a very long waiting list for our book clubs and last-minute cancellations mean that we cannot offer a space to another sister in the community to join the event.
