Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is a musical genius (just ask him, he’ll tell you!), but in the pompous court of eighteenth-century Vienna, there is only one other man who can see it - a rival composer tortured by his own quest for perfection - Court Composer, Antonio Salieri - and he’ll stop at nothing to destroy him.
Adapted into an Academy Award winning film of the same name, Amadeus invites the audience to explore one man’s complex relationship with his art, his rivals, and his maker.
Directed by Terri Brabon, AMADEUS features an outstanding cast of Queensland’s finest, including Brendan O’Connor as Salieri, James Raggatt as Mozart and Rachel Nutchey as Contanze.
