Amadan are a talented six-piece band from Edinburgh, who grew up together in Gaelic-medium education. The ensemble features Gaelic singer and accordionist Matthew Wright, siblings Niall and Ròsaidh Mackintosh on guitar and clàrsach, fiddler Catrìona Lawson, bassist Oscar Phillips, and pianist/guitarist Finlay Penman.Together they bring a fresh and vibrant take on traditional Scottish music.
This event is part of Seachdain na Gàidhlig | World Gaelic Week, which celebrates Scottish Gaelic language and culture.
