AM Shanley is an acclaimed Irish singer-songwriter blending lo-fi pop, jangly indie rock and moody Americana. Known for his emotive vocals and genre-defying sound, Shanley has supported acts like The Wedding Present and The Divine Comedy, with previous releases praised for their raw honesty and melodic depth.
His latest album American Vanilla, produced by Julie McLarnon (Junior Brother, The Vaselines) marks a vibrant return, recorded live to tape with a full band at Analogue Catalogue Studios. With comparisons to Lou Reed, Mark Linkous and Elliott Smith, Shanley’s work continues to resonate with a devoted following and press alike.
