Alysha Brilla is a 3 time JUNO Award nominated composer, music producer, multi-instrumentalist, audio engineer and artist weaving together global roots sounds into healing music. The child of an Indo-Tanzanian musician, Brilla’s original music is a colorful tapestry. Themes of re-connection with ourselves, each other and the earth are woven into uplifting rhythms and soulful melodies.In 2013, Alysha became one of the first self-produced female artists to receive a JUNO Award nomination. Since then, she has won Producer of The Year at the 2018 Independent Music Awards for her album "Rooted" with her music being featured in film, television and Spotify Editorial Playlists. In 2023, Alysha composed the original score for the TIFF Premiered feature film 'The Queen Of My Dreams'.
