Join us for the first ever Alvarado Street Brewery Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 20, 2025, 1-5pm on the historic Colton Hall Lawn in Monterey!
We’re bringing together 20+ guest taps from some of the best lagerbier makers around, alongside our own lineup of 6+ German-style lagers, for an unforgettable day of Bavarian-style celebration. Pair your steins with Oktoberfest favorites from The Meatery, a beloved local butcher shop serving world-class, fresh-grilled brats, pretzels, and more!
Between pours, test your strength in Masskrugstemmen (stein-holding), jump into sack races and tug-of-war, or cheer with a beer from the sidelines. Explore local maker booths, enjoy Bavarian lawn games, groove to the traditonal and non-traditonal sounds of DJBadDJ, and don’t miss a round (or three) of the Chicken Dance.
This event is in partnership with and benefits the Monterey Firefighters Community Foundation.
Kids 12 and under are free with a parent or guardian!
Parking is available in nearby downtown garages/lots, as well as street parking up the hill.No outside food or drinks permitted.
