Join Washburn president, Dr. Juliann Mazachek and her husband, Dr. Keith Mazachek, along with other Ichabod alumni and friends for a trip of a lifetime. Fly to Cairo and spend three nights in one of the world’s most ancient cities. Among other things, enjoy a private Cairo tour, visit the Saladin Citadel, Muhammad Ali Mosque, Grand Egyptian Museum, Giza Plateau and Great Sphinx. Fly to Luxor and visit the Temple Complex and Valley of the Kings. Relax onboard the MS Jaz Regent for a four-night Nile River cruise visiting Edfu, Kom Ombo and Aswan. Fly to Abu Simbel to visit the Nubian Monuments, then fly to Cairo for an additional night before returning home.
THE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION HAS RESERVED THE ENTIRE SHIP. If we sell all 50 staterooms on the MS Jaz Regent, we will have a chartered, private Washburn sailing. As of Aug. 24, we have sold 33 staterooms. This trip will likely sell out sooner than later. Avoid disappointment and reserve your spot(s) soon.
