The Alumni Impact Series is a fresh way for LeadSGF alumni and the 417 community to stay engaged, inspired, and connected. Designed in the spirit of the Signature Class program days, these events pack meaningful learning, connection, and community impact into just a few hours. Each session takes a deeper dive into one of Leadership Springfield's Signature Class themes, learning how to contribute to and impact our community.
Our October Alumni Impact Series event will highlight the theme of Arts & Culture in Springfield. Together, we’ll explore the creative community that shapes our city.
The event includes:
πŸ—οΈ A guided hard-hat tour of the under-construction Springfield Art Museum with insights from museum staff.
πŸ’¬ A dynamic panel conversation featuring leaders from across Springfield’s arts and culture scene:
β€’ Moderator: Leslie Forrester, Executive Director, Springfield Regional Arts Council
β€’ Bridget Bechtel, Executive Director, Sculpture Walk Springfield
β€’ Nki Calloway, Artistic Director, Mosaic Arts Collective, and Captain Springfield 2025
β€’ Beth Domann, Executive Director, Springfield Little Theater
β€’ Kenny Kabak, Founder & Artistic Director, Queen City Chorale
🧟 A fun and interactive β€œThriller” activity hosted by Dance with Me, the coordinators of Thriller on C-Street, to close out the afternoon.
We will begin at The Savoy Ballroom and there will be optional bus transportation provided to and from the Springfield Art Museum.
Guests: You, Leadership Springfield alumni, and the broader community! This event is open to anyone in the community for a $40 registration fee.
Thank you to our October Alumni Impact Series Sponsor, Olsson!
