Alumni event at Health and Safety Executive’s (HSE) Laboratory in Buxton

The HSE team has prepared an interesting and informative day for us to enjoy, as you will see from the agenda! The morning will include presentations on manual handling, stress and process safety and a tour of the facility has been planned for the afternoon which will include visits to the engineering and microbiology labs, the hydrogen rig, and HSE’s battery facility! Lunch and refreshments will be provided on the day.

We know that this will be a hugely popular event and only 55 Alumni members can join us on the day. We therefore recommend that if you are free and would like to join, you book early to avoid disappointment. We will be operating a waiting list once all places are taken, so if you are fortunate enough to secure a place and your plans change, please let us know so the place does not go to waste.

Buxton Train Station is in the centre of Buxton town, a 10 minute taxi journey to the laboratory.

Macclesfield Train Station is the closest larger station, a 20 minute taxi journey to the laboratory.
