This celebration includes dinner, entertainment and a presentation of the Ohio State Newark Distinguished Alumni Award and Homecoming Court. The evening will also include a silent auction to benefit the OSU Newark Alumni Scholarship.
Distinguished speakers include the new Ohio State Newark dean and director Matthew J. Smith, PhD and Aaron Parry, a former OSU football player and member of the 2014 National Championship team. Smith formerly served as dean of the College of Humanities and Behavioral Sciences at Radford University, where he was also a professor of communications. A bona fide football champion, Parry played Center for NCAA Division I National Champions The Ohio State Buckeyes, where he was also recognized for his leadership abilities by being accepted to the Bert L. Wolstein Leadership Academy.
All guests must be 21 years or older. ID's will be checked at the door. Guests will receive a wristband and two complimentary drink tickets. Registration is required.
