Friends of Alum Creek & Tributaries (FACT) needs volunteers to remove invasive honeysuckle and clean-up along the Alum Creek river and trail near Westerville's Otterbein Lake on Saturday morn, August 24. Meet on the Alum Creek Tail next to Otterbein Lake - west side of the river, south of W. Main Street bridge. East of 60 Collegeview Rd, Westerville https://goo.gl/maps/Pr5nyMXQDnw FACT will be collaborating with Otterbein University students as part of the school's Community Service Plunge day. Please wear sturdy work shoes (no sandals), pants & long sleeve shirts. Feel free to bring your bow saw &/or loppers. FACT will provide some loaner work tools, gloves, beverages and snacks.
