Good quality equipment, maternity clothing, baby and children’s clothing (up to 11 years old) toys and books and at bargain prices.
You’ll also be helping Alton and Bordon NCT raise funds and continue providing valuable support for local parents with young children. Win Win!
Where does what we sell come from?
Local parents. They bring all the stuff that they are done with and is in NEARLY NEW condition and our volunteers sort them into the best pop up department store for you to shop!
How can I sell stuff?
Pay £8 to register as a seller (£5 refundable deposit). Sort and clean all the bits you have to sell. Decide the selling price and label your items. Drop them off the morning of the sale. We keep 30% of what you make and the rest gets paid into your bank account about 3-4 weeks after the sale. You collect your unsold items after the sale.
Why do you do this?
Not only are these sales absolutely brilliant for our local parents, they bring vital funds to our NCT branch. The money we raise goes towards keeping running our breastfeeding support group and other events and keeping the attendance costs as low as possible. We know that the costs mount up when you have children, our Nearly New Sales allows parents to pick up the essentials at bargain prices and sell what they don’t need any more. It is great for the environment, saving lots from going to landfill.
How can I get involved?

Buy - Come along on Saturday 1st March at 2pm (1:45pm for NCT members) at Alton College, Edward Road (GU34 2LX) and bag some bargains!
Volunteer - This brilliant day takes many hands to put together. We need help! We need help on the Saturday 9am-5pm. As a volunteer ‘perk’ you do get to shop before the sale opens to the public and a reduced commission % for sellers who volunteer. Link to sign up to be shared asap
