About this Event
Join CDCP and Kelly Lanzendorfer of Eastern Standard Photo on Saturday, September 6th from 12-3pm for a day of making photographs of plantlife, all using alternative processes. Inspired by Jessica Peña Heberle’s botanical work, we will construct our own images based on plants we find around the neighborhood. We’ll talk about making interesting compositions and then create cyanotypes and lumen prints, both utilizing sunlight and chemical processes.
Participants will take home their original artwork inspired by both Heberle and Wilkinsburg itself.
This is a free workshop and is open to all ages.
