DJ Buckers is an obsessive music nerd in the best sense of the word. A musician, producer and recording engineer with over 20 years’ experience performing and making records, he approaches DJing with the same ear for detail, dynamics and flow.
A teenager in the 90s, that decade sits at the heart of his sets - alternative, indie, pop, rock and left-field crossover - but his knowledge and taste stretch from the 1960s right through to new releases. Expect familiar anthems, smart curveballs and the occasional deep cut, all selected with intent rather than nostalgia for its own sake.
At the core of it all is a genuine love of music: the thrill of discovery, and the buzz of sharing great records with a room. Whether building atmosphere or nudging people onto the dancefloor, DJ Buckers plays for music lovers first and foremost.
