Alterations 1012nd Sunday of Month
4-7pm
$10 per class
Learn the basics of altering clothing during this 3 hour course. Students will learn repair skills such as moving and adjusting hems, repairing tears, adjusting fit, simple zipper fixes, and how to use a sheet to make a simple pocket curtain. All skills will be practiced on lightweight fabrics.
Students should bring their own scissors, seam ripper, measuring tape, and matching thread.
Heavy fabrics and coat zippers will not be used, as those are more advanced skills.
