ALTAR MILONGA: NIGHT OF SPIRITS
Every milonga is a dance with the ancestors. We tango to the recordings of musicians long since passed through the veil, to the echoes of embraces that came before us and countless steps on the floorboards. Tango spirits float among us in the ronda.
>> Come early for great pizza, craft beer and cocktails in the brew pub downstairs. We’ll also have a bar open upstairs during the milonga. Try Altar’s popular “Tango Haze” IPA!
>> Special thanks to guest artist Paul Michael Montelongo, whose artwork is featured in the cover photo above. Paul will show his gorgeous Dia de los Muertos series of digital paintings as part of this event. Prints in multiple sizes will be available for sale.
