About this Event
Broom making is an old art treasured around the world. We'll use dyed cactus, hemp, leather and beads to create personal brooms you can use to sweep your body, your altar or the crumbs up off the table :) I'll teach two traditional styles: Turkey tail and Hawk tail.
The night will begin with a drum cleansing and honoring of the elements. All materials included. Herbal mocktails and light snacks provided. Space is limited to 12.
About Yvonne: Yvonne Pérez Emerson, the founder of Make & Mary~Casa de Ritual is a herbalista, curandera, energy weaver, soul doula, artist of ceremony and grandmother.
