About this Event
Broom making is an old art treasured around the world. We'll use dyed cactus, hemp, leather and beads to create personal brooms you can use to sweep your body, your altar or the crumbs up off the table :) I'll teach two traditional styles: Turkey tail and Hawk
The night will begin with a drum cleansing, honoring the elements and intentions for the new moon. All materials included. Herbal mocktails and light snacks provided. Space is limited to 12.
About Yvonne, Founder of & I am an Earth sister, energy weaver, ceremonial designer, maker, and dreamer. Practicing herbalism, energy weaving and intuitive readings through traditional indigenous folk ways.
I draw inspiration from my ancestral lineage of Mexican/Indian and Scottish decent, each rooted in Earth-based practices and cosmic connections. My intuitive sense is lead by my heart, channeling consciously through the relationship I have with the energy of Spirit, ancestral wisdom, Father Sky, Madre Tierra, the elements, the plants and my guides.
I have spent many moons connecting to the land through medicinal plants and creative practices. Weaving in various modalities that nurture the soul — from ceremony and rituals, sacred plant offerings, and energy healing. Throughout my life I have been drawn to the cycles of the seasons-the moon-and the divine feminine. These practices have cultivated in me a strong connection to the natural world, they are my embodied experiences.
