Alt-J Concert Tickets
Watch a thrilling combination of post-modern lyricism and experimental rock with Alt-J tickets. Bandmates Joe Newman, Thom Green, Gus Unger-Hamilton and Gwilym Sainsbury created the hit group in 2007 while studying at Leeds University. After graduation, the group signed a record deal with Infectious Music in 2011. Their self-titled four-track demo EP, which was released later that year, featured future hits "Breezeblocks" and "Tessellate."
In 2012, the band released their first studio album, An Awesome Wave which reached No. 13 on the UK Albums Chart and earned Album of the Year honors at the Ivor Novello Awards. The album was certified Platinum by the RIAA in the United States as well. The group's second album, This Is All You, followed in 2014 and went straight to No. 1 on the UK's Official Albums Chart. Alt-J headlined the popular Boston Calling Music Festival the next fall, which kicked off a short North American tour.
