The annual Alt Ed Summit is a one-day, in-person conference for Oregon's alternative education community (teachers, counselors, administrators, and district / ESD partners). This year's theme is Breaking Barriers for ALL Learners and the goals are to:
- Build a foundation to reestablish a robust Alt Ed community and culture of connection among alternative schools and programs, public and private
- Provide professional development for teachers and counselors in alternative learning environmentsÂ
- Provide relevant educational tools, tips and strategies, and self-care support for educators providing direct services to students in alternative learning environments
